Changes, big changes
I am never really comfortable with changes, especially big ones. I don’t think anyone is really okay with change because we never know what to expect. We don’t know what is around the corner. We are unsure of ourselves, others, our reaction, their reaction. We don’t know if we will mess up or if things will crumble around us. We don’t know if things will be better than we expected. We don’t know.

So we change
Things never remain the same. Things have to change. We long and desire for the things we understand to stay. We hope that the memories we made will be lived over and over, but that cannot be. Things change, we change.

Memories
Memories are ambigious. They are not reality. They highlight the good, overstate the bad and leave us in great awe or great shame. Memories can captivate us or control us. I failed, I messed up, I succeeded, I won, it was fun, I hated it, we laughed, we cried, she said, he said. It is all goodbye and gone. What really matters is not what was or what is, but what is becoming.

We are today what we thought and we will be what we are thinking. 

So we change
Don’t be afraid, and don’t fight it, there are no escapes. We must change. We must move forward. We change.
