Let’s keep this short
I have come online to point out to everyone that today is the most beautiful day we have had in like 30 million years. I am on my way outside to enjoy the weather. I am so excited about it! Talk to you later!

coin in sand

Once again I am on my way…
In just a few moments, I will pack into the Honda and drive across town. I will be on the hunt for various items in Flea Markets. I can’t tell you why I like going to these so much. I just do. So after Farville, we will head to Old Towne, then to Yesterdays, and then to Treasure Hunt. And finally we will go to Wal-Mart, for groceries, hooray.

Telling the Future
I would like to take a try at telling the future. I believe I will find ten way cool items today. I will find a really cool surfboard, some really awesome old antique thing which I will resell on ebay and some other odds and ends. We will see if I am right.

summer field

Doesn’t that picture make you feel good?
I don’t know why I miss summer so much but I do. I just can’t help thinking about running through a field like this some day in the near future. I feel like a convict who has been locked up in prison for years and is finally being let out. I hear that the weather people are predicting temperatures in the 60s on Saturday. I cannot tell you how exciting that is for things to get that warm.

Complaining?
So I am not sure if I am complaining about the bad weather as much as I am thankful for the warm weather. Let us think about all the fun things you can do when it is warm.

Walking outside without a jacket, I could stop there but let’s go on…
Swimming
Camping
Hiking
Frisbee Throwing
Standing outside without shivering
Go to Walmart with the windows down
Go outside to look at the stars
Fly a Kite
Visit the Zoo
Chase Rabbits
Hunt for Moles
Have a Picnic

I could continue but the list in my mind could go on for days. So I will leave you with that list for now. I will not apoligize for my complaining. I think of it as learning to be thankful for summer heat!

Paper Cut!

Why God? Why?
I am not sure why God allows paper cuts? I mean there are worse things like severing an arm or something, but…  paper cuts have to be close to loosing a limb. I mean it is not that they hurt real bad at the time. It is more the fact that they take like 20 years to heal up.

Giving Blood
Here is another small thing that hurts like crazy. I donate platelets at the Red Cross and the whole getting stuck in both arms thing doesn’t hurt near as much as the iron test they do in the beginning. They prick your finger and that little prick can last for a day or so when both of the holes they put in my arm don’t bother me at all.

The Small Things
Watch out, sentimental talk coming…I guess it is not always the huge things that can bother us the most in life, but the small sharp pricks. Like words spoken, or looks given. Sometimes those can bother us more than the big stuff. Funny.

Moday Morning

Monday Morning Always Comes
Most people fall on their knees and scream when the alarm goes off on Monday morning. The weekend of freedom is over. But for me, I actually love Mondays. Call me crazy. But I do and here is why…

Fresh Start
To me Monday means a clean slate. You get to start all over again and all the stuff from last week is gone, well kinda. I mean think about it. That thing you didn’t get done last week is still sitting on your desk. But ah ha! I can overcome it this week. Okay so that sounded pretty weird, but do you get my drift. I am always so excited to start the week, because I always have hopes that I can get more accomplished than last week. And to me that is exciting.

Monday
P.S. isn’t Monday a funny sounding word?

Toilet Bowl

We shouldn’t be talking about this
I don’t know why we don’t talk about this more often. I guess in normal conversation, the bathroom doesn’t come up very often. Most of the time when it does come up it is short and ambiguous. I assume there are obvious reasons for such logic but today I would like to break the mold.

NEW LAW
I would like to propose a new law. It is called, “talk about it as often as women are not around”. I mean think about it… most of the time when we, (men of course) get in trouble it is because the ladies are grossed out by the topic. But I today decree that it is no longer inappropriate to talk about bathroom events.

Major Events
Some pretty major stuff happens in the bathroom. I mean other than the numbers, life is planned in the bathroom. I plan my day, review my day, write songs, rethink life, text message, groom, clean, play with matches, and more.

How can you argue with my logic?

Bowling is incredible…

Bowling ball and shoes

Gotta love the Bowling.

I didn’t do as well as the other day with a 185, but it was still fun. My high of the night was an incredible 136. I did beat Jessica which means that I was “seriously” bowling. All in all it was a fun night. I drank 2 fruit punch slushes and I now have a headache. I also ate a double cheeseburger which was awesome. You can’t beat those bowling alley burgers. I wish I knew why they tasted so good. it is probably because I bowl and then pick up my burger with my bowling ball fingers. That has to help the flavor some how…

Mac Vs Dog

Mac Vs Dog
How do I win this battle?
My wife wants a dog. I want a mac. We are both against each other. She cannot see why we need a mac over the average PC we currently own. She also can’t see why getting a dog would be “The Worst Idea Ever!”.

Room For Compromise
There is really no hope in sight. I would like to think that there is a compromise in the future but I don’t see any other option. How could I possible convince her to let me get a mac without her bringing up the fact that I won’t let her get a dog. I am lost.

Pros/Cons
Like any normal human being struggling to make a decision, you must first weigh out the pros and cons of a purchase. Let’s start/finish this argument with the obvious cons of owning a dog.

1. Poo
2. More Poo
3. Shots
4. Kennels
5. Death

Would a mac ever leave a mess on the carpet? Would you ever have to ask someone to take care of your mac while you go out of town? Does a mac need shots? Will the mac run out the back door and get hit by a car and make your wife cry?

All the answers are no. But yet my wife just doesn’t see it my way.

tired
I Can’t Sleep
So it is late or early… whichever. I cannot sleep. I feel tired but not really tired. I know I have to get up early so that makes me want to try to sleep but I know I will just lay there for like an hour before my mind shuts down. Kinda crazy but everyone has been there.

Random Thoughts
Since it is 1:19AM I feel the right to talk randomly about random things without any regard to thier connection or logic. So here goes and if you care to follow along do so.

PopEyes Chicken
We arrived at 9:20 they close at 10:00pm. My wife wanted chicken strips but they had already “shut the fryer down for the night”. Which meant all that was left was old chicken. We did not order. We sat with our company while they ate. A group of basketball players came in after us and got fresh chicken. go figure.

Bowling
I bowled a 185 the other night. I was quite proud. I haven’t bowled that well in a while. I also beat Daniel. Which made the score even better. I like Daniel but not enough to lose to him. I am proud to say I beat him twice. Thanks Daniel.

Mr. Potato Head
We did a tater auction at our church and as a result I have a new love for the classic toy. I truly wish I would have thought of the idea. Pure Genius. Genius.

Flea Markets
I don’t understand my addiction but I am addicted, no doubt. I have the urge to browse at least once or twice a week. Most of the time, I don’t buy anything. I know that is wierd but it is true. I love to browse through junk…is that crazy?

College Ministry
We are kicking off our college ministry tomorrow night at The Edge Coffee House. I am really excited, I think it is gonna be awesome. We are gonna eat brownies and talk about God. What could be better?

American Idol- Paula is crazy!

american idol

I think she is crazy.
My only hang up on the show is Paula. Randy can be a little too cool sometimes and Simon is always over the edge, but Paula… I mean come on. I really think, outside of the show, she is crazy. I don’t mean like OCD or a little silly.. I mean crazy. I bet she has like major breakdowns and talks to her teddy bears or something. Don’t get me wrong. She is pretty sweet to the contestants, but then there are those moments, those crazy Paula moments that happen every show. I just wonder what they edit out and we don’t get to see.

Crazy Paula Rewind
You know how they do those American Idol Rewinds? They should totally do a Paula rewind on all the crazy stuff Paula has said or done. That my friend would be awesome!
