The Other Side

For a few years now I have been against blogs, really because I didn’t understand them too well. But now having seen the light, I am coming to the other side. I have found the benefits of using a blog are quite incredible. So for my first blog ever, I will comment on the four reasons a blog will change your life.

Four Reasons a Blog Will Change Your Life

1. Purpose. That is right purpose. It doesn’t really bother me that my blog is not famous, or read by thousands. All that matters is that I, Jimmy Hudson, have my own space in the world that matters. I can write what I want, and to me it has purpose.

2. Humor.  I have found that I rather enjoy momentary lapses into talking about random things. I think it stems from Seinfeld. But I really do enjoy talking about the humorous things in life that don’t ever get mentioned. A blog is the only logical place for the momentary lapses to take place and be heard.

3. Website Stuff. For no other reason that google rank, a blog is a great thing. If you are adding fresh content to your page every single day, the search engine is going to notice and that my friend means google becomes your friend and not your angry cousin who never calls.

4. Preaching. Although a blog is not a sermon, it really does say alot about a person. you can tell what they think and what they care about in just a few entries. So to me a blog is like a sermon. The good ones don’t go on for days or put people to sleep. they are pointed interesting and short!
